This page is a tribute to Gillian (Jill) Mercer, who sadly passed away on 11 March 2024 aged 73.
 
Jill was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many, and she was much loved by all who knew her. Jill’s focus was always on family and she leaves behind her husband Eric, children Emma and Jeremy, and four grandchildren who were her absolute pride and joy. 
 
With the most incredible and infectious zest for life, she really was beautiful inside and out - the kindest, most generous and most selfless person you could ever wish to meet. Always happy, positive, and rarely without a smile, she brought so much joy to so many. We were all incredibly lucky to have had her in our lives – and now, to have the memories that we shared together. 
 
Jill would love nothing more than to know that she could continue to help others. So, in her memory, we have set up this page to raise funds for this wonderful charity – one which is very close to all our hearts. Every penny counts, so a big thank you for your donation.
